fax numbers. so over?

We're sending the second batch of business cards out to print for a couple of other people (more on that later) and we've had this ongoing discussion about whether or not it's necessary to have a fax number on your business card anymore.
We have two clients who use the fax machine. And we're working hard to ween them. When was the last time you used a fax? Or had to give someone a fax number? I'm thinking that we should have left this number off the card, and replaced with IM, Twitter, etc. But we caved to tradition, for most of the cards.

fax numbers... sooooo 20th Century!
what's even worse is people who use them in their advertising... not their collateral pieces, but their actual ads!
