Meet Katie.

Our new intern, Katie started this week. We've convinced her that we're the hottest agency in all of the land of agencies. And that all of the cool agency people like to do crappy work like filing, and photo research and building other designer's conceptual comps. So far, she's on board.
Here's a
little something about Katie...
I overheard her telling someone else at Plaid that she's single, and
'accepting applications.' We suggested she share her Facebook profile. She was previously boycotting Facebook (college students sometimes do silly things like that), but we've convinced her otherwise. You can friend her
here. If you're lucky, she'll accept. :)
Unlike our previous intern, she doesn't own a Zune. We like that. (Sorry
Brian)
She's already had a great week:
+ She's done some production work for Talbots and a bank's website,
+ Got a lesson on how to ride the Segway PT,
+ Sat in on the first ever recording session for a Plaid podcast (Plaidcast)
+ And some other boring stuff, too.
Please welcome Katie to the Plaid crew and be nice to her on Facebook. :)

...Yet...She doesn't own a Zune Yet :)
Dear Katie,
We have a dog here in Maryland you can have. He is a puggle. That is a Pug/Beagle mix. Two out of three of my kids hate him. My wife abhors him. But he loves me. He follows me around constantly. He would follow me to CT even if i drove and he ran. So if a car pulls up to your office and a little dog is behind it, hold out aome peanut butter and please take him hom.

Hi Morgan!
I don't have room for another dog... but Giuli might... she has a few Beagle-ish hounds!!! ; )
Maybe a local rescue group would take the little guy... my Chihuahua is a rescue dog! : )
Giuli and I totally think we need a "Bring Your Dog to Work Day."
Thanks for reading the blog!
Katie
Hi Brian,
I didn't know what a Zune was until I Googled it. :(
I just got the new Nike/Nano thing to track my runs though... so I still consider myself semi hi-tech. I even used Darryl's duck tape system to secure it to my laces!
So far interning has been pretty sweet... everyone's been so nice... even Dave! : ) Although, I did arrive today to a hotdog costume hanging off the back of my chair... a little concerned about that one... Darryl told me I would be wearing it and riding the Segway... that might make YouTube's top 10.
